Homemade Ron Paul Sign Appears in Perry Hall

A small sign reads, "Ron Paul REVOLUTION" at the corner of Silver Spring Road and Belair Road.

It's small and apparently homemade, but it's the latest example of how fever has hit Perry Hall.

Attached to a metal box at the corner of and Belair Road is a painted cardboard sign that reads, "Ron Paul REVOLUTION," with each letter in the "EVOL" portion flipped backward to spell "LOVE."

Rep. Ron Paul, who is running as a presidential candidate in the Republican primaries, is famous for his die-hard followers, grassroots campaigns and small government platform.

The Texas congressman made headlines on Tuesday by snaring nearly 23 percent of the vote in the New Hampshire primaries, coming in second behind presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, a former Massachusetts governor.

When recently asked if he could actually see himself as president of the United States, Paul responded, "Not really," ABC News reported. But the admission hasn't appeared to slow down his campaign.
