Kimco: Retailers, Grocery Store Planned for Perry Hall Square

New leases are expected to be announced in late January or early February.

A new lease for the lot may not be finalized until late January or early February, said Gregory Reed, assistant director of Perry Hall Square Shopping Center's management company, Kimco Realty.

While the new tenant has not yet been finalized, Reed said he expects it to be a grocery store.

During a in October, he said the location would probably not be filled with a , , or Giant.

Out of 40 possible spaces, the currently holds 24 active businesses, including anchor tenants , Brunswick , and the , according to .

The shopping center may reduce its vacancies by 15 to 20 percent after the new year, Reed said.

"We're expecting offices and local chain retailers," he said. "We're working on deals."
