Lights On Coco: Santa Comes To Rosedale
Santa Claus is visiting a home in Baltimore County that features a dazzling light show.

ROSEDALE, MD — Santa is in Rosedale Sunday night. It's one of two visits he pays to the decked-out home on Coco Road each December. He will also be around Saturday, Dec. 21, according to homeowner Lori Ambrose.
Her husband — who plays Santa — is the man behind the dazzling light show that has attracted people to their home during the holidays for years. He starts putting it up Nov. 1, and they flip the switch Thanksgiving night. It takes a couple of hours for each minute of music, she said.
This year's show features selections from "Christmas Vacation" to "The Polar Express."

The house on Coco Road is their "first and only home," and they began decorating it 20 years ago, according to the Lights on Coco blog. They noticed people were slowing down and stopping to see the lights; so each year, they have added more lights and music.
Since 2012, Santa has been making appearances. During his visits, Santa will take pictures with kids and offer them a special treat. Normally, he sits in the driveway but because of the wind on Sunday night, Ambrose said he will be on the front porch.
