Lost: Puppy Runs Away on New Year's Day

Benji was last seen at the Putty Hill Plaza on Bel Air Road.

A Perry Hall Patch Facebook reader reached out to us to share:

“I came to Baltimore, Nottingham, MD to visit my sister for Christmas and New Years.. Devastatingly on New Years my 6 month puppy ran out the house without any of seeing.. He did it a few times but we always would catch him. This time no one saw him. Somehow he ended up in the Putty Hill plaza on bel air road.. Which is like 4/5 miles from my sister so he couldn’t have gotten there on his own. After him being out there for hours, A worker at that Giant finally paid attention to him and since she was only on a 15 minute break she couldn’t keep him so she gave him to a lady that seemed sweet and kept him the car to get out the cold while she finished doing what she was doing. She said she couldn’t keep a dog so she was going to drop him to a shelter. I have called everywhere and I have been to shelters to check if he is there. I have handed out flyers everything that I can do. Unfortunately I am leaving today to go back to Canada where I am at school and he is still missing. If there is anything you can do it would be so much appreciated the more the word gets out the better chance I have finding my only “roommate” while I’m off at school. He is only 6 months and today is his half year birthday he is the friendliest puppy ever. Please help to get the story out there is possible thank you.”
