Man Charged in 6 Business Robberies in Baltimore County
Baltimore County police say a man was allegedly behind six business robberies in the first half of November, girlfriend suspected in one.

A couple has been charged in connection with the robbery last month of an Overlea 7-Eleven, according to police. One of them is charged with robbing five additional businesses in less than two weeks in Baltimore County, officials reported.
Walter McMillan Dorsey, 33, of the 100 block of Fuller Avenue in Baltimore, is charged with two counts of robbery and four counts of armed robbery, Baltimore County police said.
His girlfriend, 28-year-old Lauren Paulette Valiquet, of the 100 block of Fuller Avenue is charged with one count of robbery for her alleged role in the Overlea 7-Eleven robbery on Nov. 5, according to the report.
Officials say the romantically involved pair is also charged in a Harford County murder.
Police allege Dorsey was responsible for the following robberies, with Valiquet participating in the Nov. 5 incident:
- Nov. 5,: 7-Eleven, 7600 block of Belair Road 21236
- Nov. 7: 7-Eleven, 8000 block of Belair Road 21236
- Nov. 11: Baskin Robbins, 2300 block of East Joppa Road 21234
- Nov. 13: Subway, 1600 block of East Joppa Road 21234
- Nov. 14: 7-Eleven, 8600 block of Pleasant Plains Road 21286
- Nov. 15: Dunkin Donuts, 6300 block of Kenwood Avenue 21237
Valiquet is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $1.5 million bail, police said.
Dorsey is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $5 million bail, according to police.
Valiquet and Dorsey are also charged in Harford County with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and using a firearm to commit a felony in connection with the death of Valiquet’s estranged husband in August, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
