Man Charged In Hotel Shooting Near White Marsh

A man was charged with attempted murder, among other offenses, in the White Marsh area shooting.

WHITE MARSH, MD — A man has been charged in shooting and injuring a woman Thursday at a hotel in Nottingham. Attempted murder is among the charges.

Jorden Mitchell Bradford, 21, is being held without bail in connection with the shooting at the WoodSpring Suites hotel early Thursday morning.

Authorities said they were called to the 4900 block of Mercantile Road in Nottingham at 2:53 a.m., where a woman had been shot in a domestic incident inside her hotel room at WoodSpring Suites.

She is expected to survive her injuries, including at least one upper body gunshot wound, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Bradford was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, handgun on person and using a firearm in a felony crime. While he has no fixed address, court records show that as recently as this past year he lived in the 7500 block of Lange Street in Dundalk.

He was taken into custody Thursday following the shooting and was denied bail.

At his bail review on Friday, a judge ruled that he will continue to be held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Bradford is due for a preliminary hearing in Baltimore County District Court on July 7.
