Marks: Peach Blossom Avenue Could Receive Speed Bumps

County Councilman David Marks released the following statement related to potential traffic calming measures along Peach Blossom Avenue in Perry Hall:

Today, I received word that Peach Blossom Avenue between East Joppa Road and Georgia Belle Drive qualified for traffic calming. I know this has been a priority for the community near for several years.   

Before improvements are made, there must be support from a certain percentage of residents. The Department of Public Works will be working with residents to ensure there is local support for the plans that are produced. I have not seen the actual drawings yet, but suspect they will involve speed bumps.
