PERRY HALL, MD — A virtual public meeting to discuss traffic improvements to a major roadway in the county is scheduled for April 9.

The roadway in question is none other than Honeygo Boulevard, according to the Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation.

The focus will be on Honeygo Boulevard's intersection with Cross and Gunpowder Farm roads. The move is part of a larger effort by the county to implement safety and traffic improvements at busy intersections.

Improvements to the major roadway have been a work in progress.

Concerned residents earlier claimed a victory when the DPWT determined the intersection with Gunpowder Farm Road qualified for a traffic signal.

Council member David Marks urged residents to attend "to learn more and share your opinion."

He previously announced that a virtual meeting is also planned for proposed changes to Silver Spring Road.

Officials will hold a one-hour meeting that will start at 7 p.m.
