Mistaken Shooting, Perry Hall Liquors Holdup: Police Blotter
Recent crimes in and around Perry Hall include an assault over a parking spot, armed robbery at a liquor store and more.
PERRY HALL, MD — The following information about crimes in Perry Hall from mid-November to mid-December was provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not equal convictions.
The front door of an apartment in the 4800 block of Berryhill Circle was kicked in, according to police. The would-be burglar was not someone the victim knew and was ultimately unable to get inside. The residential burglary attempt occurred between 6:30 and 11:51 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13.
Police said a man was arrested after shooting his girlfriend by mistake in Nottingham this week. He was getting out of his car in the unit block of Rosencrans Place at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, when "he was surprised by his girlfriend, who he accidentally shot," according to authorities. Police reported the girlfriend was taken to an area hospital, and the boyfriend was arrested.

There was a stabbing in a parking lot in the 9700 block of Pulaski Highway. A stranger came up to a vehicle, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the hand. Police said the victim had a minor laceration, and the suspect left in a known vehicle. The assault occurred at 11:50 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9.
There was an assault in the unit block of Hollow Rock Court. Police said someone assaulted another person after they argued over a parking space. The assault in the townhouse community occurred at 8:52 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.

There was an armed robbery at Perry Hall Liquors in the 8600 block of Belair Road. Police said two armed suspects demanded money, stole cash from the lottery machine and ran away. The holdup happened at 10:05 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7
Someone tried to break into Professional Pharmacy in the 9100 block of Philadelphia Road. When the glass door would not break, the suspect left. The burglary attempt happened at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5.

A lawnmower was stolen from a shed in the 4200 block of Necker Avenue. The burglary occurred between 10 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, and 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
There was an attempted burglary at an apartment in the unit block of Breslin Court. The suspect bent the window screens, pried the front door and damaged the deadbolt but did not get inside. The burglary attempt happened between 4 and 10:40 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25.
From November 15 to Nov. 27, there were four residential burglaries in the White Marsh Precinct involving similar methods. In all cases, entry was gained by breaking the rear sliding glass door.
Miscellaneous items were taken from a locked storage container at a Nottingham construction site with items belonging to American Capitol Contracting Inc. The burglary in the 5300 block of Nottingham Drive occurred between 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25.
