Nottingham Man Charged In Triple Stabbing At Motel

Police said a Nottingham man was being held without bail on attempted murder and other charges related to the motel stabbings in Rosedale.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A Nottingham was arrested in connection with the stabbing of three people at El Rich Motel in Rosedale, according to police.

Timothy Lee Nobles, 20, of the 3800 block of East Joppa Road, is charged with attempted murder, assault, armed robbery and other charges related to Tuesday's stabbings the motel in the 8200 block of Pulaski Highway, authorities reported Friday.

Police said Nobles was arrested at 9:55 a.m. on Thursday when authorities found him at the Royal Farms on 62nd Street in Rosedale.

Officials attributed the arrest to "good old-fashioned police work," stating that officers had canvassed the area on foot Tuesday and Wednesday to interview potential witnesses for leads, which resulted in the identification of Nobles as the suspect in the case.

Nobles is charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder; three counts of first and second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment; armed robbery; and theft under $1,000.

He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. A preliminary hearing in his case is slated for July 28 in Baltimore County District Court.
