Nottingham Man Wins More Than $12K Playing Keno
The Maryland Lottery reports a Nottingham man scored big playing a scratch-off game.
NOTTINGHAM, MD — A corrections officer for Baltimore County won $12,502 playing Keno recently, according to the Maryland Lottery. The 50-year-old, who lives in Nottingham, said that he was tired after a tough day and stopped at Putty Hill Liquors on the way home.
When he scanned his ticket, he said he wasn't sure whether his numbers had really won the prize.
"I could barely talk to the guy," the man said as he asked the clerk to check. "I almost couldn’t get the words out — $12,000!"
