Organizers Seek Feedback on Perry Hall Apple Festival

Now that you've had a few days to digest your apple pie and recover from sack racing—the Perry Hall Improvement Association would like to hear your opinion of the community's first-ever Apple Festival.

Organizer Audrey Burn has released a community survey, found online here.

It includes questions like, "Which attractions would you definitely want to see at next year's festival?" and "Did you enjoy having craft vendors at the festival?" and "We realize the food lines were long, what are your feelings about that?"

Dennis M. Robinson, Jr., president of the PHIA, also released the following statement about the festival:

Don't let anyone tell you that the spirit of community is not strong in Perry Hall! The first Perry Hall Apple Festival was a tremendous success. Thousands of people from Perry Hall and elsewhere flocked to Chapel Hills Farm and Nursery for a good, old-fashioned, family-friendly event.

Perry Hall Improvement Association board member Audrey Burn did an amazing job organizing the event, with help from fellow PHIA board member Chris Defeo. Thanks to Russell Berk and Chapel Hills Farm and Nursery for supporting this event. Russell is a model for ways that local businesses can support the community. I value him as a community partner.

I truly enjoy these types of events because they bring the community together. Attendees took a step back in time to simply enjoy the company of family, friends and neighbors in a fun and relaxed setting.
