Orioles' Manny Machado Gets Penalized--with Perks
Brawl at Camden Yards results in suspension, with free crab cakes.

Baltimore, MD — Orioles star Manny Machado may have to sit out after charging Kansas City Royals' Yordano Ventura for pelting him with a 99-mph fastball Tuesday night.
After the game, which the Orioles won, Machado was handed down a four-game suspension.
"...obviously, I'm going to appeal it," Machado told ESPN.

Ventura will be benched for more than double Machado's time—he was suspended for nine games.
Machado and Ventura were ejected Tuesday night after getting into a fight on the field at Camden Yards. The fight happened in the fifth inning after Machado came up to bat, and Ventura hit him in the back with a fastball.

Afterward Jimmy's Seafood offered free crab cakes, steamed crabs and meal prep for life for Machado, who was described by Jimmy's as a "real man."
Both Machado and Ventura have appealed their suspensions, and they are allowed to play until the appeals process is complete, The Baltimore Sun reported.
Machado was said to have been fined $2,500, which teammate Adam Jones has offered to pay.

Neither the shortstop nor the pitcher is new to suspensions.
Machado was suspended for five games in 2014 for throwing his bat at third base during a matchup against the Oakland A's where he was on the receiving end of multiple brushback pitches, according to MLB.com.
Ventura was suspended for seven games after an outburst against the Chicago White Sox last season, ESPN reported.
