Pedestrian Killed In White Marsh Crash: Police

Police said that a woman was walking in the middle of Philadelphia Road when she was hit by a car. She later died, officials reported.

WHITE MARSH, MD — A woman was killed walking in White Marsh Wednesday night, according to police. She was walking against the flow of traffic in the middle of Philadelphia Road when she was hit, police reported Friday morning.

Adrianne Bacardi Dietrich, 35, whose last address was unknown by authorities, was hit by a 2005 Buick that had been driving east on Philadelphia Road, officials said.

The crash happened at the intersection Philadelphia Road and New Forge Road, where the Baltimore County Police Department was called before 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Dietrich was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased, police reported.
