Perry Hall Blockbuster to Close April 10
At least 1,145 Blockbuster stores have either closed or been slated for closure since September.

The Joppa Road location will shutter its doors on April 10, said a store manager who requested not to be named.
At least 1,145 Blockbuster stores have either closed or been slated for closure since the company filed for bankruptcy protection in September; 186 closed in March alone, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Until the store's closure, previously-viewed DVDs, originally priced at $14.99, will be sold for less than $4.
But a temporary deal on DVDs wouldn't replace years of memories for James Chu, who works at the family-owned next door.
"If we ever had nothing to do, we'd walk over and rent a movie," said Chu, who has helped out at the dry cleaning business since he was in middle school.
He said he thinks that rental services like Netflix and On Demand detracted from Blockbuster's business.
The in the same shopping center also offers a Redbox DVD rental kiosk, but Chu said, "I'll probably just watch them online."
