Perry Hall Couple Paying After Baltimore Steampipe Explosion: Report
A couple from Perry Hall is reportedly still feeling the effects of an underground explosion in Baltimore over the summer.

BALTIMORE, MD - A woman from Perry Hall is reportedly paying out of pocket in the aftermath of a steam explosion in Baltimore that covered her car in debris.
Michelle Muir went to watch the Orioles game on June 20 and parked their 2002 Honda Accord nearby, according to Fox 45.
A steam pipe exploded in the area of South Eutaw Street between Lombard and Pratt streets approximately 0.4 mile from Camden Yards, where the Baltimore Orioles played the Cleveland Indians that evening.

The windows were smashed out, the hood was dented and the damage was estimated to be nearly $2,000, Fox 45 reported.

Five people were injured in the explosion on Eutaw Street, public safety officials said at the time.
There were 33 vehicles damaged, according to The Baltimore Sun.
Don Muir and his wife, who only had liability insurance, were tasked with paying for their vehicle's damage, he told the newspaper.
Veolia, the company that was responsible for the steam pipes, told Fox 45 that if it were found at fault, it would cover the damages. The investigation into the underground explosion is ongoing.
