Perry Hall Improvement Association Requests Single State Legislative, Congressional Districts

The Perry Hall Improvement Association supports including the Perry Hall community under a , according to a letter released by the organization Tuesday.

In an email to the , association president Dennis M. Robinson Jr. detailed Perry Hall's traditional boundaries and affirmed the organization's non-partisan stance.

While much of the community is represented by Legislative District 8 and the 1st Congressional District, some areas of Perry Hall are in Legislative District 7 and the 2nd Congressional District.

"The PHIA simply and respectfully requests, regardless of what districts the community is included in, that Perry Hall be unified in a single state legislative district and a single congressional district," Robinson wrote.

The PHIA for Perry Hall to be included in a single county councilmanic district earlier this year.
