Perry Hall Weekend: Cheer Finals, Military Concert, Road Cleanup

PERRY HALL, MD — This weekend in Perry Hall, there are opportunities to cheer on the Perry Hall Gators, eat for a good cause as well as donate candy and clothes. There's also a cleanup along Joppa Road, a military band performance for Veterans Day and a history lecture about World War I.

Friday, Nov. 9

Operation Gratitude Candy Buy-Back 2018: For the third year, Dental Designs of White Marsh is collecting candy to send as part of the care packages provided by Operation Gratitude. As an extra bonus, all donors will also be given $1 per pound of candy donated, up to 5 lb per person.

Fields of Fire Country Concert: Country music and Richardson Farms refreshments will be on tap from 6 to 11 p.m. at 6040 Glen Arm Rd.

Saturday, Nov. 10

Fall Yard Sale at Friends of Jerusalem Mill from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2813 Jerusalem Rd., Kingsville.

Perry Hall High School PTSA Holds Monthly Used Clothing Drive: Drop off used clothing from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Perry Hall High School, 4601 Ebenezer Rd.

Cleanup along Joppa Road: Hosted by the Perry Hall High School Alumni Association. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Weis parking lot, 4126 E. Joppa Rd.

Holiday Craft Fair: Get a jump on holiday shopping with baked goods, jewelry, floral arrangements, purses, cards and more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brightview Senior Living, 9657 Belair Rd.

Touch A Truck & Open House: Kids can examine a variety of vehicles from 9 a.m. to noon while parents explore St. Paul's Lutheran School, 12022 Jerusalem Road, Kingsville.

Maryland State Cheerleading Finals: Perry Hall Gators will perform at 12:16 p.m. at Harford Community College, 401 Thomas Run Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015.

Friends of the Perry Hall Library Speaker Series: Hear about artifacts of the Great War from historian Michael Brown at 2 p.m. at the Perry Hall Library, 9685 Honeygo Blvd.

MPSSAA State Soccer Semifinals - Class 4A: Lady Gators play Eleanor Roosevelt at 2:30 p.m. at Wise High School, 2650 Brooke Ln., Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.

Pasta Dinner: The Knights of Columbus, St. Patrick Council #370, host the dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Adults $10, and children under 10 eat for $5 at 8335 Philadelphia Rd.,Rosedale.

Monday, Nov. 12

Maryland at War Concert: The Maryland Military Band will perform at 7 p.m. at the Perry Hall Library, 9685 Honeygo Blvd.
