Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association Releases August Newsletter
The newsletter highlights events and announcements related to local businesses.
Each month, Lynn Richardson, president of the Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association, releases a newsletter to business owners, organization members and area residents via email.
The August newsletter includes the following message from Richardson:
Itʼs hot. Really hot. Can you say the same for your business these days? It is common to hear that business is off or slow because of vacations, the heat, no one is around, etc, etc. BA-LONEY. Every customer you have has not gone on a two-month vacation, left town, stopped working themselves or succumbed to the hot weather. If you notice you have some “downtime,” take advantage of that opportunity to tune up your marketing materials, strategize a summer promotion and refresh your website. Allot some time each day or each week to re-connecting with your clients and customers. Thatʼs right. Actually give ʻem a call to say hi! Emails are OK, too, but since we are all in the
personal relationship business, BE PERSONAL.
I am pleased to say that the 15th Annual Town Fair was enjoyable, entertaining AND successful. We are pleased to be able to donate significant funds to the Perry Hall Alumni Association, Troop 433-Camp Chapel Boy Scouts, the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Department, the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, and of course our own Perry Hall Student Scholarship. We will be making our Scholarship Presentation at the August
meeting at Seven Oaks Senior Center, and the remainder of the donations at our September General Meeting on Sept. 20th.
Thank you to our fabulous Town Fair Committee for their remarkable assistance and dedication in making the Town Fair run smoothly: Eric Bowers, David Marks, Chris Defeo, Gus Kerasiotes, Lee Bloomfield, Sharon Jones, Jay Whittaker and Cpl. Pat Wilhelm. I helped a little, too.
In our expanded newsletter this month, you will see who our many sponsors are, as well as some ads from these fine companies. Please consider our sponsors (and members) when choosing a service or product. Check out the articles on pages 5 & 6.
