Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association Releases April Newsletter

The newsletter highlights events and announcements related to local business.

Each month Lynn Richardson, president of the Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association, releases a monthly newsletter to business owners, organization members and area residents via email.

The April newsletter includes the following message from Richardson:

The new Member-to-Member Discount Program has launched and has had brisk response. As a PHWMBA member, you will receive lower costs, bonus services, free gifts and more, just by doing business with the people you already know. You will be receiving an initial list in the coming week and we will also post them on our website. If you haven’t registered your business in the program, get in touch with Kathy Sanner right away at perryhallflorist@yahoo.com. She will get you plugged in.

Spring is definitely here. Time to plant. Time to watch the world bloom. Time to watch baseball. So are you thinking about growing your business, making sales blossom and hitting home runs? OK—enough of the metaphors. Kick things into gear starting with our Business Builder Meeting on the 19th at Time Out For Sports. This is going to be fun. Nancy Somer is going to talk about how “getting your name out there” through embroidery and screen printing can help you. We are setting up a comprehensive lunchtime seminar on the 27th to discuss and learn about Social Networking and Website optimization. No sales pitches here. Member John Zimmerer will be our presenter, and he really knows this material. There is a $10 registration fee for this one, but it is a great investment for the future of your business.

Our feature articles this month are on boosting email marketing responses (page 2) and how to focus sales and marketing efforts (page 3). Check out photos of contemporaries at our last meeting at American Cancer Society. And don’t miss the interesting info on page 10. Remember to refer friends and associates to PHWMBA members.
