PHOTO: Could You Smell Gasoline Near the Old BP?

You may have smelled gasoline along the 9600 block of Belair Road Thursday afternoon.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., contractors removed two large fuel containers from under the , a worker on the scene confirmed. One was loaded onto a truck and removed from the area.

Patch reported that the location is scheduled to become a Royal Farms.

A representative for Continental Realty Corporation, which owns the Brick Bodies Square shopping center, declined to comment on when the new gas station and convenience store was expected to open.
