PHOTOS: Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Visits Perry Hall Weis Market

Weis shoppers were caught smiling at the sight of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

Customers were delighted Sunday afternoon by the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile at the Weis Market in Perry Hall. The 27-foot-long vehicle was parked outside the supermarket from 2–5 p.m.

T.J. Vanpoppel, 4, of Perry Hall, asked the truck's driver, Brian Mallioux, a number of questions. Vanpoppel was even allowed to make an announcement on the sound system: “Go, hot dogs!” His father heard about the event while shopping at the store.

Coloring sheets, stickers and postcards were available for children inside the store. But there was an even bigger benefit of having the Wienermobile, in its 75th anniversary, on site.

Said one of the store's managers: "[We're] moving a lot of hot dogs in the store."
