UPDATE (Feb. 1, 6 p.m.)—Darla Kinch wasn't complaining about the speed hump on —she was simply disappointed by the lack of signage and notice given to community members about the road construction near the speed hump on Wednesday afternoon.

"There were trenches dug on both sides of the speed hump and the only caution signage they had was a sign at Ebenezer and Kilbride that said 'Road Work,'" Kinch wrote in an email to Patch.

At about 12:30 p.m., with no construction workers in sight, she said she watched a mail truck get temporarily stuck in one of the trenches.

"The neighbors who live around where the speed hump was said that others had also damaged their cars earlier," she stated.

officials were not immediately available to comment on Kinch's complaint when contacted by Patch late Wednesday afternoon.
