Police: Helicopter to Fly Over Perry Hall, White Marsh

The Baltimore County Police Department explains police activity in the sky over Perry Hall.

Don’t be surprised to see police activity overhead this week in Perry Hall.

A police helicopter will be conducting multiple flights over Perry Hall and White Marsh on Monday and Tuesday, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

The department is selecting officers for its aviation unit and the flights are part of the process, police reported.

Flights will travel over White Marsh Mall, Honeygo Park and the Byron Station 7-Eleven (located in the 8600 block of Honeygo Boulevard), according to officials.

The flights will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, and Tuesday, Oct. 27, police reported.

The Baltimore County Police Department’s aviation unit includes three helicopters, based at Martin State Airport.

In 2013, they responded to more than 4,000 calls for service, helping to locate 30 missing persons, assisting in 255 arrests and recovering 27 stolen vehicles, police report.
