Power Restored to More Than 1,700 in Perry Hall

UPDATE (10 a.m.)—About 1,757 Baltimore Gas and Electric Company customers lost electric service Saturday night in the Perry Hall area, said Linda Foy, a BGE spokeswoman. 

Outages appeared to be concentrated near Belair Road, Ebenezer Road and East Joppa Road neighborhoods, according to the BGE website's Current Outages map.

Service was lost at about 8:15 p.m. and restored shortly after 9:30 p.m., Foy said.

It was caused by a problem with a cable and did not appear to be weather related, she added.
