Richardson Farms: Cantaloupe Less Popular After Outbreak

Customers are wary of buying cantaloupe after a deadly listeria outbreak was linked to melons shipped from Colorado, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Maggie Schaum of Perry Hall decided not to purchase cantaloupe during a shopping trip to R&B Fruits and Veggies in Cockeysville, the article stated.

Mandy Richardson, retail manager at in , said she has reassured customers that the store's cantaloupe are from California and likely not impacted by the outbreak, according to the article.
