Road Rage Ends With Shooting On I-695: Baltimore County Police
BREAKING: Witnesses are wanted in the shooting on Interstate 695 near Harford Road that happened Sunday, police said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a road rage incident on Interstate 695 left a woman in serious condition Sunday and temporarily closed the inner loop of the beltway in northeastern Baltimore County. The victim was shot while driving near Harford Road, officials reported; the shooter was in a black Nissan sedan.
Authorities said two vehicles — a windowless white van and a black Nissan sedan — were involved in a road rage dispute on the inner loop of I-695 around noon Sunday near Harford Road.
When a third vehicle tried to pass them, police allege the driver was shot by someone in the Nissan sedan.

Two men were inside the black Nissan, which was an Altima or Maxima with tinted windows, Lt. Andrea Bylen told Patch. It was unclear whether the driver or passenger fired the shot, she said.
A 58-year-old woman driving a dark gray 2018 Subaru Outback was seriously injured, according to police.

"We're seeking information and looking for witnesses. I'm sure someone had to be around the area at that time — the occupants of that van, especially," Bylen said Sunday evening. The people in the white work-style van were "not being sought as suspects," she added, and authorities wanted to speak with them as witnesses.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the event is asked to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020.
The inner loop of the beltway was temporarily shut down in the area of Harford Road/MD 147 so detectives could investigate the shooting. Traffic cameras showed drivers being forced to exit I-695 at Harford Road.
By 3:30 p.m., the cameras showed the closure had ended and traffic was flowing.
