Robbery In White Marsh Mall Parking Lot: Perry Hall Area Crime

A burglar tried to break into Casa Mia's, police said; that and more crimes were reported recently in the Perry Hall area.

PERRY HALL, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in and around Perry Hall. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A woman was robbed in the parking lot of the White Marsh Mall. The robbery happened at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 11. One suspect assaulted her and stole her purse, then the two suspects took off in a vehicle. At the time of the robbery, the victim had been walking across the parking lot in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Boulevard.

There was a failed attempt to burglarize Casa Mia's in the 8600 block of Honeygo Boulevard. The suspect kicked the front door and hit it with a cinder block. The attempted burglary was reported at 12:07 a.m. on Jan. 6.

Four juveniles were arrested in connection with a violent carjacking in the 4200 block of Cardwell Avenue. A man was standing at his vehicle when the suspects assaulted him, stole his wallet and took his vehicle. All four were located and taken into custody following the robbery, which occurred at 10:26 a.m. on Jan. 3. The victim was hospitalized and has since been moved to another facility, where he will be doing inpatient rehabilitation for three to six months, according to a GoFundMe account set up to assist with medical costs.
