Rosedale Federal in Perry Hall Was Robbed: Police

Bank robber on Belair Road used a note and implied he had a gun, according to Baltimore County Police Department.

A bank in Perry Hall was robbed this week, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

The Rosedale Federal branch in the 9600 block of Belair Road was robbed by a man with a note, police said.

At 1:02 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, the suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, implying he had a gun, according to police.

The man took an undisclosed amount of cash and left on foot, police reported.

This week’s bank robbery was one of a handful in the past year in greater Perry Hall.

In December 2014, the Susquehanna Bank was robbed on Ebenezer Road by a man with a note, police said at the time. In November 2014, police said a man with a knife robbed the SunTrust Bank in the 8700 block of Belair Road.
