Rosedale Man Accused of Killing Grandfather with Candy Jar: Police
A 32-year-old man is in jail on a first-degree murder charge after Rosedale assault.

ROSEDALE, MD — A man whose grandson allegedly threw a candy jar at him during an argument last month has died, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Robert Harmic, 77, died from blunt force trauma more than two weeks after the incident, police said. His grandson is facing charges, including first-degree murder.
Officers responded to an apartment in the 1200 block of Chesaco Avenue at 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 10 for a report of an assault that injured someone, according to police. Harmic was found in an apartment suffering from a head injury. He was taken to Franklin Square Hospital and died on Sept. 29, according to police.

Investigators determined that Misowitz had been arguing with his mother and grandfather when he threw a glass candy jar from the living room at his grandfather, according to police.
Misowitz was arrested and has been indicted on charges of first-degree murder and first and second-degree assault, court records show.
He is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
