Fullerton Shooting: Police Say One Injured, One in Custody
The suspect in Fullerton shooting was apprehended six minutes after officers were dispatched, police reported.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — One man was injured and another person was in custody Tuesday afternoon in connection with a shooting in Fullerton that authorities said was not random.
At 12:29 p.m., officials said they responded to the 7900 block of Belair Road for a report of a shooting and found a man who had been shot in the lower body in the parking lot of the Fullerton Plaza — behind McDonald's and in front of IHOP.
Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Meanwhile, law enforcement from the Parkville and White Marsh precincts fanned out to look for the suspect, a search that did not take long.
By 12:35 p.m., an officer from the White Marsh precinct had located the suspect on Rossville Boulevard, which authorities reported was briefly closed during a search for evidence.

Since the suspect has not been charged, officers are not releasing the person's identity.
The violent crimes unit is investigating the case, which police said appeared to be a targeted incident.

PREVIOUS REPORT — Authorities say they have an individual in custody in connection with a shooting on Belair Road Tuesday afternoon.
Before 12:45 p.m., officers said they were at the scene of a shooting in the 7900 block of Belair Road.
The violent crimes unit was responding to the area, according to Baltimore County Police Department spokesman Cpl. John Wachter.
By 2:40 p.m., officials reported there was a suspect in custody. The individual has not been identified because charges have yet to be filed. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020.
