Shoplifters Get Physical at White Marsh Mall: Perry Hall Police Blotter
A handful of restaurants in greater Perry Hall were also targeted by criminals, police said.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about incidents in greater Perry Hall.
Shoplifters pushed employees who tried to stop them at the JCPenney at White Marsh Mall in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Boulevard. Three individuals went into the store between 10 and 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, and were attempting to leave with several pieces of clothing they had put into a bag when loss prevention employees confronted them. Two suspects pushed the employees, and the suspects got away.
A loss prevention employee at Boscov’s was assaulted. At 2:56 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, a loss prevention employee at White Marsh Mall confronted someone for shoplifting. The suspect assaulted the worker.

An attempt to break into Wendy’s was unsuccessful. Sometime between 3 and 3:25 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, someone tried to pry the drive-through window open at the Wendy’s in the 8200 block of Perry Hall Boulevard. The person was not able to get into the fast food restaurant.

A computer was stolen from a church in the 9900 block of Harford Road early Monday morning. At 1:07 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, the suspect broke into the Korean Zion Presbyterian Church by shattering the glass window on the back door. Then the burglar broke the glass window on the office door to get inside. After taking a computer from the office, the person left.
The Dairy Queen in Rosedale was held up by a woman who implied she had a gun. The suspect entered the ice cream shop in the 8600 block of Pulaski Highway at 10:20 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, She implied she had a gun and took cash from the register.
Olde Philadelphia Inn in the 9500 block of Philadelphia Road was held up on Thursday, Dec. 4. At 8:50 p.m., the suspect implied possession of a gun and presented a note demanding money. The person who received the note ran to the back of the restaurant and did not give the suspect any money. The suspect left.
Several items were damaged in a burglary at the Golden Corral in the 7900 block of Rossville Boulevard. Between approximately 4 and 5:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, someone pushed in two windows to break into the restaurant. It did not appear that anything was taken; however, the office door, cash drawer and key box were damaged.
