The Shoppes at Perry Hall to Open on Belair Road

PERRY HALL, MD — The newest shopping center in Perry Hall will have a ribbon cutting next week.

Anchored by Seasons Pizza, The Shoppes at Perry Hall will include other retailers, plus parking and landscaping in an area that was in need of revitalization.

"...it brings a blend of uses to this part of Perry Hall," said developer John Mazarakis, who reported Thursday that it is 50 percent leased.

The property was rundown and vacant for several years after plans to demolish it and rebuild a shopping center stalled in the bureaucratic process and Baltimore County Councilman David Marks helped shepherd it through permitting.

"This project has taken more than three years from permitting through construction, but I am happy this derelict area has been greatly improved and beautified," Marks said.

The Shoppes at Perry Hall ribbon-cutting is set for 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at 8833 Belair Road.
