Smell Something Stinky? Call Public Works
A Baltimore County spokesman said he would take questions from anyone concerned about a possible sewage spill.

When Kimberly Ann Bankard smelled something foul near the White Marsh Boulevard exit along Philadelphia Road Monday morning, she left a message on Perry Hall Patch's Facebook wall.
"It is horrific. I have to hold my breath. What is it? Others have to notice. Please let me know who we can report this to!!!" she wrote.
Patch contacted , a spokesman for Baltimore County public works, and by the afternoon, a worker had gone to the scene to investigate.

"A man checked the area in the 10500 block [of Philadelphia Road] and opened several manholes. It was odor-free," Fidler said.
But the incident brought up a bigger question. If residents , who should they call?
