UPDATE: Tornado Warning in Effect Until 8 p.m.

The National Weather Service warns of damaging winds and large hail.

UPDATE (7:45 p.m.)—The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning over Baltimore County until 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The advisory was upgraded from a tornado watch, which will remain in effect until 2 a.m. Thursday.

The impending storm could bring damaging winds and large hail over several Maryland counties. A late night cold front could increase the potential for strong wind gusts, the NWS reported.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will likely continue over the Perry Hall area into Thursday evening, as temperatures linger in the mid-60s and 70s.
