Tree Falls Near Harford Road During Storm Monday
BREAKING: Drivers should avoid Harford Road if headed north Monday evening.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Storm damage has been reported around parts of Baltimore County Monday, according to emergency management officials. One of the areas impacted was on Harford Road
Northbound Harford Road was closed at Cub Hill Road due to a downed tree, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported. The closure took effect before 5:30 p.m., officials said.
Southbound Harford Road was not affected.

More than 17,000 BGE customers were without power as of 6:15 p.m. in Baltimore County, according to the utility company's outage map.
Baltimore County was under a severe thunderstorm warning until 5:30 p.m. for storms with wind gusts up to 60 mph. The National Weather Service warned that trees could fall due to the strong winds.
