TURTLE TREK IV, 5k Run/1m Walk ~ SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH at MARSHY POINT NATURE CENTER

The course this year for our “Turtle Pace” participants will be a bit shorter (1mile) and take place on Katie and Wil’s Trail.
AND BACK BY POPULA DEMAND:
Off-Road Route: This is the complete 5k route and will make you think about more than just running! It takes place on the natural, remote trails throughout the Nature Center with very minimal paving. Watch out for the tree roots and foot placement; and, you never know when you might come across a fallen tree branch along the way. We do clear all the trails of branches, etc.; but, hey - it’s nature, it keeps you on your toes!
Awards for best times (managed by Charm City Run) of the 5k run will be given for various age groups. There will also be plenty of door prizes, free goodies and lots of fun other things too. It just gets better every year!

The Team Challenge is back again, so go to Charm City Run’s events page to find out the details of how to register your team of up to 10 for $200.
Plus, there’s the early-bird registration too ... Entery fee until Sept. 30th is $25!

This year’s event is even more special since the Marshy Point Nature Center Council is joined in! We are working together to make this another great event. All of the proceeds will go towards the maintenance and expansion of Katie & Wil’s Trail plus support other needs throughout the Nature Center!
