Two Failed Robbery Attempts: Greater Perry Hall Crime
The Soda Pop Shop was also hit, Baltimore County police report.

Criminals are continuing to target businesses in the greater Perry Hall area, according to reports from the Baltimore County Police Department.

This week, would-be robbers tried to hold up two Shell stations in the area in separate incidents. However, both robberies were foiled.

One attempted robbery was reported at the Shell gas station in the 9700 block of Belair Road at 9:33 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, according to police.
The suspect implied having a weapon and ordered the clerk to open the register, police reported.

However, the employee did not understand, and the suspect took off empty-handed, according to the report.
Earlier that day, police said another Shell gas station was also hit and the robbery also not completed. In that case, the robber displayed a weapon.
Police said an individual went into the Shell station in the 9200 block of Harford Road, showed a weapon and demanded money at 1:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
When the employee did not give the suspect any cash, the individual left, according to police.
Earlier in the week, police said one business—not a Shell gas station—was preyed upon.
The Soda Pop Shop in the 3000 block of Northwind Road was robbed at 9:55 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, according to police.
The suspect implied having a weapon, then demanded money from the register, police said.
After getting the cash, the suspect left the business.
