Unicorn Costume Photos Released By Police After High's Heist
Police shared photos of the "unicorn" who is accused of holding up a convenience store in Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police released pictures from an unusual robbery that authorities say happened over the weekend. The suspect, who was allegedly armed with a crowbar, also wore a full-body unicorn costume, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
While police had previously reported that the costume was recovered by the side of the road and the suspect and his getaway driver were in custody, some readers were skeptical.
"...c'mon man! Full body unicorn suit and a crowbar? I say pics or it never happened!" one reader posted on the Bel Air Patch Facebook page in response to the story of the armed robbery by a "unicorn."

In fact, the department's robbery unit released two images.
Police said one, taken from surveillance video, shows the suspect wearing the unicorn costume during the holdup of the High's store in the 13500 block of Long Green Pike after 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 16.
The other image is a photograph of the discarded costume where police collected it as evidence, police said.
