UPDATE: Police Identify Suspected Bally Total Fitness Shooter
Police released a wanted poster for Seth Josiah Burgess, who is considered armed and dangerous.
UPDATE (March 24, 6:30 p.m.)—Police have identified a suspect in the of the Bally Total Fitness in White Marsh.
Police are looking for Seth Josiah Burgess. A wanted poster has been released which identifies Burgess as a 21-year-old black male, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and 140 pounds.
On Feb. 15, shortly before 9:30 p.m., two men approached a gym member near his car in the fitness center parking lot and demanded the victim's property. One suspect hit the victim in the head with a handgun. The victim ran to the front of the gym and said he heard several shots fired. Investigators later found a bullet hole in the rear windshield of a vehicle in the parking lot, officials said.

Investigators have obtained a warrant for Burgess' arrest and have asked for the public's help in finding him, said Capt. Michael Balog of the White Marsh police precinct.
Burgess has been seen near Morgan State University, in the Cold Spring Lane corridor and around White Marsh. He is a former Columbia resident. Community members should exercise caution and contact police before confronting him, said Balog, as he may be armed.
