VIEWFINDER: Inside the Perry Hall Goodwill Super Store

Take a behind-the-scenes look at the local Goodwill.

There is no shortage of eye-candy at the —the community's largest repository of donated items.

Workers sort through clothes, shoes, housewares and electronics, searching for sellable treasures. Items found unfit for the sales floor are recycled or sent to foreign countries, said Tony Rogers, a store manager for the past two years.

In addition to selling low-cost goods to the public, Goodwill's mission is to offer "customized job training, employment placement and other services to people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience, or face employment challenges," according to the organization's official website.
