Walmart Putting Finishing Touches on Nottingham Store

A grand reopening celebration is planned for June 13.

The off White Marsh Boulevard plans to show off its renovated space during its grand reopening Wednesday morning, company officials announced. 

The Walmart at 8118 Perry Hills Ct. has become a Super Walmart. It now offers a wider selection of groceries, a bakery, a deli, meat and dairy products and fresh produce. It also includes expanded merchandise departments, a pharmacy, a vision center, digital photo processing center and Walmart Connect Center, featuring cell phone products. And don't forget the McDonald’s and Da-Vi Nails. 

The reopening marks the end of more than a year of changes at the store. marked one of the few breaks from construction.

The 149,500-square-foot store gained an additional 24,950 square feet. It will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, according to the announcement. 

The celebration, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on June 12 will feature 's , public officials and giveaways, according to company officials. Community members are encouraged to attend.

The at 6420 Petrie Way plans to celebrate its renovation Wednesday morning, as well. About 170 jobs were created by the expansions of both stores. See for details.
