Water Main Break on Slater Avenue, One Lane Closed

An 8-inch water main break sent water gushing along Slater Avenue near Belair Road in Perry Hall as of 7:40 p.m. Monday, said Kurt Kocher, a spokesman for the Baltimore City Department of Public Works.

Workers closed one lane of Slater Avenue and shut down water service to 30 homes near the , Kocher said.

He said he expects water service to be restored by the early morning Tuesday.
