1 Hospitalized After Water Rescue In Baltimore County: Officials

Authorities say one person was rescued Wednesday in northeastern Baltimore County.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — One person suffered potentially life-threatening injuries as a result of a water-related incident in Baltimore County Wednesday, officials say. The victim was in critical condition, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Emergency crews were called to the 8700 block of Fontana Lane Ring at 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, because someone was reportedly underwater.

"Rescue operations in progress," officials said before 6:20 p.m., stating later that divers were in the water.

By 6:40 p.m., crews were clearing the scene after one person was taken in critical condition to an area hospital, officials said.
