WBAL: Army Father Surprises Son at Perry Hall Elementary
After months in Iraq, U.S. Army Sgt. Matthew Hunt visited his 8-year-old son, Corey.

Corey Hunt, a second-grade student at , received an unexpected surprise Thursday afternoon—a visit from his father, U.S. Army Sgt. Matthew Hunt.
WBAL TV reports that Hunt had last seen his son at Christmas. He was then deployed to Iraq where he suffered a wound from a car bomb explosion.
With the help of Principal Donna Bergin and Corey's teacher and classmates, Hunt hid behind a curtain in the school's auditorium. With television news cameras rolling, he hugged his son for the first time in months, the article stated.
