White Marsh Policeman Named Officer Of The Year

Police said White Marsh Officer G. Meyers is a leader in case closures and serves as a model for his fellow officers.

WHITE MARSH, MD — Officer G. Meyers of the White Marsh precinct was named the Precinct 9 Officer of the Year for 2017, the Baltimore County Police Department announced. He is described as a leader in terms of his work on cases as well as a guide for fellow officers.

"Officer Meyers had a number of notable cases throughout the year where he took steps above and beyond standard investigation techniques, which is not uncommon for this officer..." police said in a statement released Monday announcing the Officer of the Year award.

Meyers was commended for being a leader in criminal arrests, traffic enforcement and case closures.
