YOU TELL US: Who Are You Honoring This Veterans Day?

Karlyn Rittmeyer doesn't have to look far to find a who has impacted her life. She wrote the following about her husband, Eric Rittmeyer, in an email to Patch:

He was a Marine straight out of high school and couldn't be prouder. He was so proud that he named his company Fidelis Mortgage, after the Marine Corps term Semper Fidelis. Besides being a wonderful husband and father, he is a truly amazing person! Very dedicated to his family, community and is very involved with giving and always helping others.

Amethyst Albert likewise explained her personal connection to the armed forces in this Facebook message to Patch:

Today I am honoring all veterans but especially my husband, two Purple Hearts and currently on his 9th deployment, we are a very lucky family. Also my uncle, SSG Richard Hill, who was KIA in Vietnam and my son's namesake.
