Weather Decision From Cecil County Public Schools On March 7 2018

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Cecil County will be closed on Wednesday, March 7. School officials made the announcement Wednesday morning, citing inclement weather.

Several inches of snow are expected in the area.

In addition to schools, all school offices will be closed, according to Cecil County Public Schools officials.

Cecil County is under a winter storm warning until 3 a.m. on Thursday, March 7.

The warning calls for anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow, with up to 8 inches possible, according to the National Weather Service.
