Weather Message from Cecil County Public Schools

Schools in Cecil will open on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, Feb. 16, according to Cecil County Public Schools officials.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cecil County, stating that moderate to heavy rain may cause localized flooding.

Many other school districts in Maryland, including Harford County, were closed on Tuesday due to icy conditions.

Official announcement regarding Tuesday, Feb. 16, from CCPS:

Due to inclement weather, schools will open two hours late with a modified pre-K and pre-school schedule.

Please be advised that conditions will be reevaluated and you will be notified if there is any further change in today’s schedule.

Morning Session: 11:00 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.

Afternoon Session: 1:50 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
