On January 6, at approximately 11:45 p.m., an MTA bus was stopped on Old Court Road near Woodling Way when it was struck by a 2017 Nissan Maxima. At the time of the crash, the Nissan was traveling eastbound.

The driver of the Nissan, 51-year-old Mr. Komonti Wilmer, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Ms. Mendy Wimbrey, the 48-year-old passenger of the 2017 Nissan, was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Medics transported the bus driver to an area hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team continues working to determine all of the factors that contributed to this crash.
